| This train is called the OVERLANDER and it runs between Melbourne and Adelaide some 838km away. It is a NR87 with 4000 hp pulling 12 rail cars and grossing 545 tonnes. |
This is an NR34 and this train was used to pull some carriages into place on the OVERLANDER. |

This train is called the INDIAN PACIFIC and runs between Adelaide and Sydney and was about to depart for Sydney via Broken Hill which is north east of Adelaide in New South Wales and then was going onto Sydney. |
